Description Every 15 Minutes someone in the United States dies in an alcohol related crash, (although this used to be true, statistics show that it is now every 31 minutes- the program name is still Every 15 Minutes). The Every 15 Minutes program educates teens on the serious implications of drinking and driving. The program integrates an active approach to teen drinking by providing the program at crucial at-risk times when teens are more likely to drink. Parents are a large part of the program. Visualization of death is provided to make the teens aware of the reality. The teens write letters to their parents after they have died, and the parents write their child's obituary. Primary responses to the presentation can be surprise, apprehension, and fear. The program strives to reduce adolescent involvement with alcohol.
