Description District IV provides is comprised of the Southwest Region and the Navajo Region. Services are administered to New Mexico, South West Texas, Southern Colorado, and Arizona. The Bureau of Indian Affairs is responsible for administering federal programs for Indian tribes, and promoting Indian self-determination. Law Enforcement of the tribes and Navajo Nations is also conducted as a section of the agency.
